About

Biography:

I currently hold a PhD in Applied Sciences from the Université Libre de Bruxelles, and have over 10 year experience as Senior Researcher at the Department of Chemical-Physics. Since 2012, I am coordinating the research unit on heat and mass transfer processes and the newly established unit on enhanced composite material research.

 

Interests:

My research interests are on heat and mass transfer processes with a focus on evaporative convection, complex fluid dynamics and cooling application. I am working actively in the frame of the European Space Agency scientific activities and, in this framework, I am coordinating an experimental program on the behavior of complex fluid droplets in microgravity.

Available equipment and techniques:

The Microgravity Research Center can support the team with a number of analytical instruments as well as a fully equipped workshop to assemble and design Space Experiments. A non-exaustive list of instruments includes:
